CAP76 Wasteland Exchange
CAP76 treats caps like a floating currency. Instead of pretending caps are always “worth the same,” we give them a live value signal and let prices move with the market.
The goal isn’t to replace trading — it’s to stop the endless “what’s it worth today?” arguments by giving everyone the same reference point.
Caps get stronger? You need fewer caps. Caps get weaker? You need more caps.
“Baseline” is the normal trade value people already recognize (example: Leader Bobblehead = 1,000 caps). The index just keeps that baseline honest over time.
Leader Bobblehead baseline: 1,000 caps
You can pin the formula in your vendors channel and you’re done.
CAP76 shows an “open/closed” state based on the market-hours logic used by this site. That status is informational — it’s just telling you whether the underlying ticker-style pricing is in a “live” window or not.
Note: Market Closed on weekend and holidays (NYSE calendar)
